The ‘Adventure 4 Kids Fundraiser’ is an inaugural fundraising event taking place over the weekend of September 29-October 1, 2023. As a non-profit organization, our camp depends on generous donors to help us to build a strong future of camping ministry at Silver Lake. Donations help us serve hundreds of children and youth each summer as well as help us plan and build for the future.
Participation is easy! Teams or individuals can choose their own outdoor activity (e.g. Run, Hike, Paddle or Bike), distance (e.g. 5K, 10K, a select trail or route), and a location of their choice. Participate any day over the weekend that suits you and your team best! See more details below.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ADVENTURE 4 KIDS FUNDRAISER:
- SET UP YOUR FUNDRAISING PAGE: Register by clicking on “Create/Join a Team” OR “Join as an Individual”. Select a “team name” that your supporters will recognize. You may even add a photo to personalize your page!
- COLLECT DONATIONS ONLINE: Send the link for your fundraising page to family, friends, co-workers etc. and ask them to support you as you raise money for Silver Lake United Church Camp. We can even provide you with email/text invites, printable posters, and QR codes to help you connect others to your page!
- RUN, HIKE, PADDLE, OR BIKE: On the weekend of Sept 29-Oct 1, gather your team (or just yourself!) and enjoy your time in the outdoors in a location of your choice!
- SHARE: Please take photos of yourself, family and/or your team! Post on your own social media channels with the hashtag #adventure4kids. You can also send photos to Silver.Lake.Fundraising@gmail.
com and we’ll post them on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
